About Me

I am an Edinburgh-born and-based musician. I have been playing guitar and bass for over a decade. Over that time I have played in many different styles and genres having done both classical and electric guitar exams and lessons for many of those years. I have played in many bands and projects throughout the years and have lots of experience playing live and recording.

 As well as being a guitar player I have developed skills in playing bass, keys and vocals. I often do gigs playing bass and would be happy to help teach or do session work playing that instrument.

My teaching experience includes volunteering for 5 years as part of the sounds-like program. Teaching guitar in a classroom-like situation. In 2023 I was the music tutor for a program called ELTI. In this role I go out to schools and tutor s4-s6 for their Music and Music Technology exams. In 2024 ELTI shut down due to lack of funding since then I have been tutoring privately around Edinburgh and the Lothians. My next adventure is taking part in the Napier Ma Music course. In this course I aim to study musics impact on mental wellbeing in young people and how that can impact education. I hope this venture will make me a better musician and educator in the long run!

Most of my experience has come from playing live. I have played in many popular venues in Edinburgh and recently got the opportunity to play King Tuts in Glasgow which was a dream of mine.
